This school was fantastic from Pre-K through 2nd grade. In 3rd grade and beyond, expect teachers who range from caring and helpful to downright useless. Placement scores suffer as you advance and if you want to transfer to another school past 3rd or 4th grade, expect your kid to repeat a grade. The reason might be lots of turnover with teachers and the administration.
My son has been at Sacred Heart since pre-k, and I’m so glad he has had this school to help mold him. The school fosters an environment of caring for others. The academics, spirituality and diversity offered is second to none in Baton Rouge.
Sacred Heart is a wonderful school. My high school son is excelling in honors classes in high school. My other children still attend Sacred Heart and they are excelling academically and socially.
