My daughters will be starting their 5th year at Sacred Heart. As a parent, I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school. My girls are learning how to be leaders, how to think critically without being told what to think, how to support their peers and their surrounding community through community service. Academically, they are challenged on a daily basis and learn to think outside the box, have become avid readers and critical writers. The school has taught them empathy and compassion for all, no matter their differences. As a family we are all supported by the staff and faculty (not just my girls) and any issues or suggestions we have are listened too. Athletics is top notch. My oldest is now in a sport she may never have tried out if she wasn’t encouraged to do so. Sacred Heart feels like family and I can’t value anything more than knowing we found a home at Sacred Heart.
Sacred Heart has been a true home away from home for our girls. The school lives their mission every day and really pushes our young women to be independent thinkers who are kind and compassionate. The academic program is rigorous, but there is much support and my girls are really learning to advocate for themselves. It has been amazing to see how Sacred Heart has fostered the individual growth in each of our daughters. They work hard to help each girl find that thing that makes them special and they encourage the girls to embrace their interests while trying new things. My older daughter had an interest in the broadcast journalism program, so she participated in the introductory summer programs while in middle school. Now she is in high school and broadcast is one of her favorite classes. She has taken on leadership roles while sharpening her filming and editing skills. But best of all she is having fun doing it! What more could we ask for! We highly recommend Sacred Heart.
My daughter's experience has been wonderful! Sacred Heart provides not only strong academics, but a caring environment, strong values, and teachers who take the time to get to know her both in and out of the classroom. A truly special place!
