SHA is an amazing community and you will always feel supported. Over the past 3 years, I have met so many amazing people while also being prepared for college. The teachers I have encountered at SHA work extremely hard for their students benefit and do everything they can to prepare them for college. Though some may not like the small school quality, SHA’s size is what makes it SHA. Because we are small, there isn’t one unfamiliar face who won’t smile at you in the halls or ask how your day is doing. We have amazing traditions and I’m very proud to say I’m part of the SHA community. Go red team!
This school is so special! My daughter is challenged academically, and is excelling - but that's something she could get at any number of local schools. At SHA, though, she is cocooned in love and support all day long, by teachers and students alike. If love is defined as "willing the good of the other," then this school is full of it! These girls don't compete against each other, they cheer for each other - in class and on the field. Attending this school has truly transformed my daughter into a thriving, happy, smart, kind girl. In the words of my daughter: "When I came to SHA, I finally became me"...and the girl she has become is amazing! I am so grateful that she has had the opportunity to attend SHA!
I have had an amazing experience at Sacred Heart (SHA). Most of the teachers there are very involved and care deeply about making sure each student succeeds. They are patient and are willing to take time before and after school to help students. The school has always had amazing arts and humanities programs, though more recently, it been further developing its STEM programs. SHA has a very well rounded curriculum. Because of small class sizes, its community is very tight knit and it is easy to make friends in different grades. Aside from some administrative and employment decisions, I love everything about SHA.
