At Sacramento Waldorf School, we are building a world of compassionate, deep-thinking individuals who positively impact others to embrace who they are meant to be. We provide an education that honors the developmental stages of childhood; builds confidence, connection, and purpose; and prepares students to realize their full potential.
Sacramento Waldorf School recognizes each student as a unique individual with body, soul, and spirit. We offer an academic, artistic, and experiential education based on the insights and pedagogy of Rudolf Steiner, through a holistic approach. By holding a reverence for the path of each individual, we cultivate a dynamic culture of community and life-long learning.
We make full use of our spectacular 22-acre campus overlooking the American River. This beautiful setting creates a nurturing educational environment with a working farm, expansive playing fields, art studios and workshops, theaters, gymnasiums, science labs, and multi-media rooms.

Sacramento Waldorf School Reviews
Since there are no tryouts for sports, my son loves that he gets to play even though he might not make the cut at other schools. He enjoys being part of the athletics program, and the social connections and opportunities that come with that.
The students are caring and have welcomed him, even though he knew nobody when he first arrived. It's good to see him in a place where he is supported socially, emotionally, and academically.
For those considering SWS, don't think twice. You'll wish your child had gone here sooner!
