Sackets Harbor is a wonderful school! Its in a very small closely knit community. Everyone feels like a family. I'm lucky to have good relationships with my teachers and administrators. The teachers are excellent and very supportive. Everyone in the school wants to see you succeed and they will help you reach you're goals. Also the school is very small we have great academic programs. We often compete with other schools and out preform them. Sackets has a pretty good sports program. Most students are student athletes. We have limited financial support for our art and music programs however the school puts on a musical every year. If I could change anything I would add more classes to the school curriculum. Last year the school offered a few new classes and this year even more are being offered. Sackets doesn't have a lot of teachers to teach electives, however we try our best. I feel blessed to have grown up in such a wonderful place.

My school in general is a very good school. I’ve been going to a K-12 school since kindergarten, and feel as though the teachers and administrators truly know me! Our school doesn’t have a diverse population, and the parents of students that go here, can act like things are “expected” from the local kids, in which I don’t agree what so ever!
Sackets Harbor has a tight knit community with a ton of school support.
Everyone knows your name walking downtown, and everyone watches eachothers back! I would love to have a family some day, and have my children go to a similar like Sackets Harbor!
I recently moved to Sackets from nearby school district, and let me tell you, there's a huge difference. Coming from a larger high school with over 1,000 kids alone to a k-12 school with 400 students was a huge shock, but a very welcoming one. Everyone knows everyone, and typically gets along, which was new to me. The food isn't that great, and there are very limited options, but it isn't bad. The biggest difference though, if that the teachers actually seem to care about the students and their achievements, rather than just their paycheck. Overall, Sackets is an amazing school and I would definitely recommend it.
