Sachse High School Reviews
Rating 4.05 out of 5 584 reviews
Sachse is a school that is full of spirit and character. There should be no doubts that attending Sachse High-school will be an experience to remember. Many teachers leave a lasting imprint on students, and they help make students feel more welcomed.
Sachse High School is a very academically rigorous school, however the social life is very money and party focused. As with any high school cliques are very prevalent, the administration favors athletics and band, they ignore drill team and cheer, though the drill team are 13 year national champions as of 2019. They also do not take action when inappropriate behavior is reported. A teacher who preyed on young girls in the drill and cheer teams, was allowed to remain on campus, as well as continue his after school karate club, despite the protests of many parents. Overall Sachse is academically excellent, and challenging, but does not cultivate a safe environment for its students.
Going to sachse was a very different experience I transferred in my freshman year and was automatically involved with many school activities and clubs and sports. The environment itself was very diverse and we had a very caring staff that regularly interacted with the students not just about school and expectations but about our home lives, dreams and etc. Many of the teachers I had at sachse pushed me very hard and supported me when home support wasn’t available.
