Sabino High School is such a wonderful place to go to school. I met some of the best people, and I had some pretty amazing teachers that really cared about students' success. I think I would've liked to see adminstration be more supportive of the students however. Many students called the career counselor "the dream crusher." In addition, marching band was a fantastic experience; the band was small, but everyone knew each other's name like a family, and it's building quickly! The sport programs are also excellent. Overall, although the administration could improve, Sabino is an all-around wonderful school to attend!

I am an open enrollment student within the district. I came to Sabino for its smaller campus and good academics, and I am happy with my experience. I was able to be a two sport athlete while maintaining good grades. I came in as a freshman only knowing a few people, but I am leaving with a group of great friends. My only negative experience was more with the school district and not the school. Due to the location of my house, even thought I live within the district boundaries, I was not offered district transportation to and from school. This meant I had to ride my bike three miles to the nearest school bus stop if I could not get a ride from my parent.
My time at sabino was good but mostly upsetting. I’ve played volleyball for nine years. I played freshman, was double rostered my second year for JV and varsity and Varsity my junior year. The coach at Sabino for girls volleyball has never been a good fit. Sabino has always struggled finding actual coaches for this sport. I was lucky enough to be part of the interview panel to help hire a new coach. Little did i know the coach i chose would ruin my senior year by cutting me with no explanation and getting away with it. Nothing was done except a “meeting” with no outcome and i truly am heartbroken this was not taken seriously. In the future i really hope this does not happen to another senior.
