I have two children that attend RPS Upper School, this school is fantastic! My sons are academically challenged and are receiving a world-class education. This school encompasses all aspects of a five star rating. The faculty and staff are attentive and responsive to every need. The school is culturally diverse, it offers students many sports, clubs, and various activities to choose from and they celebrate student accomplishments in and out of the classroom setting. Your child will graduate from RPS well prepared for college and beyond!
Rutgers Prep is a hidden gem. This fall my daughter entered the 6th grade from our local public school and we couldn't be happier with our choice. We have discovered an incredibly kind and diverse student body, a mix of teachers/administrators/staff that love the school which is evidenced by the low turnover, and a challenging academic curriculum. There are so many opportunities for students to learn, grow and develop not only from their teachers, but from their incredibly diverse classmates, across divisions (my daughter is currently in the Robotics Club which is taught by high schoolers) and in activities outside of the classroom. We are so thankful that we found Rutgers Prep for our daughter and that we're all a part of the Prep community!
This is our family's 6th year at RPS. My son started in Junior Kindergarten and is now in the 4th grade. Aside from the well rounded curriculum and academic strengths, the sense of community is what makes RPS special. The culture here is that everyone contributes to making our community great and that is felt across faculty, to parents and the student body. Our son is excited to come to school everyday because of the safe and nurturing environment at RPS. The RPS values of leadership and the mission to insire outcomes has helped to shape the vision we have for our son. The collaborative nature of the school has allowed him to thrive academically & socially. With the level of diversity -racially, culturally and socio-economically, we feel that the school is more representative of the world and this has been valuable in teaching life lessons of inclusion and compassion. RPS has been one the best investments we could make in our son!
