Russell High School is a great learning environment. It is very safe, and the school isn't too big. I do not have any bad experiences to share about Russell, it is great!

Great school when it comes to academics and college readiness, but terrible atmosphere for students. Some teachers encourage a competitive and negative mental state and you really only have value to the school if your parents are rich or you’re smart or both.
The experience I have had at Russell High School has been great! I have been able to get my CNA through our vocational school along with medical terminology and first aid/CPR certification through there. I have also got my college English and math finished through the school and Morehead State as a senior.
