Historically progressive in curriculum and teaching methods, Montessori schools are known for exceptionally preparing students for a future that has yet to be defined. Teaching children how to think critically and problem solve, how to work with others, how to be curious and understand the “why” and “how," and tapping into the essential intrinsic motivation that is necessary to progress to high school, college and beyond.
Ruffing Montessori School is a thriving independent Montessori school in Cleveland Heights educating children from 18 months old through the eighth grade. Nationally recognized as a leader in Montessori education for over 60 years, a Ruffing education offers experienced Montessori-trained faculty, beautiful prepared learning environments, multi-aged classrooms, and a rigorous curriculum. Our graduates are exceptionally prepared and eagerly accepted to high schools and colleges of choice, with the foundations laid for a lifetime of learning.
