The social scene at this school, i would say is if you know someone from another school your most likely to fit in and be friends with there friends and possibly other people. Other than that the school is more like a groups sits together here and there, don't talk to certain people don't engage in certain activities. Everything is based off of friends and clique and how kids run about at the school. You cant be hardly accepted for being different or having a different level of personality from other people because than you become and outcast, or your just going to be the person who comes to school, does school and hardly talk to anyone and go home after school is done (which in that case i was that person). The peer pressure at the school isn't really peer pressure because its mostly kids who already do what is trending now a days or has already attempted so no need for peer pressure.

This school for me i would say was a jump start. Since me being home schooled for year i was brave enough to actually get out of my house and go to a public school, so this was a great start. My favorite experience when i first started there were the teachers, few of them are very funny and love to engage and be apart of a students life not as a teacher but ore as a mentor. There were some that really didn't take the job as serious or could careless about the child's education just what comes in there wallet which was really awful from my experience because i seen a lot of kids who would give up just because of what a teacher would say in one class criticizing them instead of helping them through it. Other than that this school i could say is unique in a way because if a parent were to enroll their kid there, they wouldn't have to worry about there kid getting picked on or judge because its a lot of kids who been through what there kid possibly has been through or worse. It would just take them time to actually talk and open up to make friends.
There were alot of after school programs, Mock trial, dance, music, art classses.
