Rowlett High School is a quality public school. The building is in good condition and in a safe location. The principal is an alum and former teacher at the school, so he is invested in it. Most of the teachers are knowledgeable and strive to help you succeed, especially those that teach AP and duel credit classes. I would like to see more options in clubs and organizations along with better communication about them. I have also had some pretty awful teachers in various computer classes (animation, programming, etc) which is really disappointing when you consider the growing number computer related fields of study there are now. Overall, my experience has been good and I am looking forward to graduating in 2020!

This high school was very good to me. I loved it, the extra curricular activities, most of the teachers, and how they always want the students to be involved in organizations and events. What i would change about the school is that they care more about how we dress than our education. I understand the importance of dress code, but if I had a tiny rip above my knee, they would rather me sit in the office and wait until i get another pair of jeans than to sit in class and get my education. It honestly doesn’t bother any of my peers that i have a tear in my jeans or that my shoulders are showing. Dress code should be applied but it shouldn’t be enforced to where it stops me from getting my education. Otherwise, Rowlett High School is a great school, and they just started a new program that helps freshman get their associates degree!
Rowlett High School is a community established on the idea that every child is capable of discovering their possibilities and spreading their wings. When it comes to education each teacher is determined to help their students achieve their greatest potential. Education is the top priority for Rowlett High School there all multiple chances for students to earn college credit while in high school. Free college is always amazing to have and Rowlett offers that to students who want to take a chance and get ahead of their studies or simply save money. Rowlett High Scool is also home to a large number of organizations for students to take part in and meet new people. For example student council, NHS, NSHS, sports, theatre, choir, and diverse groups that I am positive each and every student will find a place where they will feel welcomed. When it comes to school spirit the student body is always hype about football games and especially the homecoming and pink out games.
