I am a graduating senior this year! Rowlett High School has has recently had a lot of new staff members join the eagle family. I will say, our newest principal has truly made a point to show top concern for the safety of us students. Overall, I’ve had a good experience at Rowlett High School! I will say the years before my attending, it was held to higher standard than it is today, but it still has good qualities. They may not be at their peaks like before, but they’re still present. My high school has taught me quite a bit to prepare me for the real world and I’m glad to be graduating as a proud eagle. I’m also very appreciative of my school’s recognition for those (me included) that work hard for their academic positions. I’m recognized every year for my standing GPA of a 3.5 or higher (currently a 3.97).

I personally liked Rowlett High School because it's clean and grand everyday, and has some very informative teachers that go beyond the standards. Students are diverse and converse with one another, I joined the schools program of AFJROTC and it was an excellent experience for me to build leadership skills and improve my social and mental skills. Rowlett High School is always improving itself and its students and faculty, it helped shape me to make the right decisions. Go Rowlett!
Great extracurricular activities and after-school programs- I had taken every extracurricular possible here. Rowlett High School has a great teaching staff, but administrations are difficult and irrational daily. As for crime and drug issues, it has gone up over the years. It was a difficult learning environment with police in the school constantly checking bags, fire alarms being pulled almost weekly, etc.
