As a Rowland Hall “lifer” (attended pre-school through high school graduation), I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. The community that Rowland Hall provides for its students promotes an open, inclusive culture that helps shape everyone into their own version of of their best self. The rigorous academic curriculum (while hard to appreciate it as I was attending!) prepared me so well for college that I actually found it less challenging than Rowland Hall! Returning back to Utah after graduation, the alumni community has enabled me to stay connected with the school and has provided additional opportunities for involvement. My teachers truly impacted me in a way that still affects me today, and I’m so happy that the alumni events enable me to stay in touch with all of them, even over a decade after graduation. I couldn’t recommend Rowland Hall more for parents who are seeking a healthy, challenging and inclusive environment for their children.

We are 4 years into our experience at Rowland Hall and we feel confident that we made a great choice. The school has an abundance of resources to build a rich and progressive curriculum that is constantly changing and challenging the kids. We have found that the faculty at Rowland Hall to be more experienced in early childhood education and more seasoned in their careers than at comparable schools.

In addition to the staff, the school has developed a tremendous array of educational setups that constantly rotate in and out of the classrooms! It's pretty amazing to see the classroom completely transform into a new learning environment every couple of weeks with incredible thought and integration into the curriculum.

We are also very pleased with the balance between traditional academic milestones and social/emotional development and we appreciate the curriculum-wide emphasis on ethics.

Rowland Hall is a special place, we couldn’t be happier with our experience.
After ten years in Utah we finally found the school that we were looking for our children. They started last year in 6th and 8th grade and we have not regretted one day the choice we made. Their year was fantastic, the students were very welcoming since day one, faculty members are outstanding, large support system in place between administrators and counselors. Technology is used as a tool, not as the goal, hands on projects together with academic materials. We really enjoyed reading the reports the teachers wrote about our children, it showed us how their teachers got to know them, and were able to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The 6th grade field trip was great for our daughter and helped her break the ice and meet new friends and the 8th grade trip to DC was, quoting my son, "The best experience of my life". We couldn't be happier with the school!
