I really enjoyed Rouse High School because the community built within it was strong. There's a huge amount of school pride that everyone carries to every football game, band competition, and theater performance. It's a school woven together with this love everyone shared for it. There were many opportunities to join in with some school activity no matter what your passion was! The staff was always fun and went as far as they could to help all their students out. My one concern was the constant schedule changes the administration enforced every year because it confused the students and created setbacks. Over all I loved this school!

Overall, I enjoyed my time there as a student. The staff was always welcoming and friendly, the Assistant Principals always available, and the Principle was easy to approach and talk to.

My favorite part was definitely the library - being able to go there during lunch and off-periods was the highlight of my day. It was a wonderful study space. Their academic programs are great, the clubs and activities are pretty great as well.

The only issue is that there was very little support for LGBT+ representation when I attended- not surprising, though, considering how conservative the area is. But who knows, that might have changed by now.
My experience at Rouse has been great. Nothing I would complain about too much. Its the basic high school experience. Football and volleyball are extremely popular and there are definitely cliques, but everyone is friendly and hardworking!
