Roswell High School is like a scary pet that you are afraid to touch at first but grew to love. Roswell’s class selections are extremely diverse with a vast arrangement of difficulties. I chose to take many AP classes which scared me. However, my teachers helped me overcome many obstacles those classes had to offer. The staff always assisted me through help sessions, availability to resources, and more. More so, meeting new people was a challenge at first. Roswell had students and teachers that came from many backgrounds. It wasn’t so hard after freshman year to find a group of friends that suited me. Overall, Roswell High School became the catalyst to my pleasant teenage experience.
Overall, I was very satisfied as a RHS student. It was very diverse in many aspects -- classes, student population, etc.. The teachers at Roswell are passionate about their classes and truly care about their students, which made the classes enjoyable (to a certain degree). Every school has its flaws, but I think RHS makes up for that with its school environment and the level of care it gives its students.
Roswell High School provided a place for me to grow and experience new opportunities. I believe it challenged my academic abilities and forced me to engage in new activities and step out of my comfort zone. Because of the large size of the school, there are many opportunities such as various clubs and activities that provide a place to make friends and find passions. There are many good teachers at Roswell High School who genuinely care about each of their students and who choose to make everyone feel welcome.
During these rough times of a pandemic, the front office is very rude, very insensitive and communication is very unclear at times and you and (the virtual students) get caught up in emails and meetings. Very upset at RHS, I will send my child somewhere else soon. Treat the parents like a dog. And call names to the students. Get real RHS and start supporting the students.
Some of the teachers are cool, administrators are jerks most of the time, academics are good, and you meet some cool people
That depending on the classes that i chose i had almost no limitation on what i could write and if you do certain classes you could get a job once you graduate.
It is a good school and the academics and teachers are good but it sometimes has sanitation problems and might have.
I loved my high school experience here! Everyone is very helpful and there when you need them. I would definitely recommend this school to others. It is one of the best academically, safety, etc.
This school amazing! Roswell High School is a community like none other. Under the leadership of Dr. Shaw Roswell has bloomed into a family.
The teachers at Roswell High School are very supportive and help you prepare for the rigor of college and ap exams very well.
Great school. All of my teachers care about my progress. Facilities are good. Most graduates join a college, which is excellent.
I like that there are so many people to meet at Roswell. There are also a lot of great teachers there.
Most of Roswell's staff are nice and open minded while others are rude and quick to judge. The principal Dr. Shaw is amazing and has great leadership abilities. The majority of the teachers I had were good and I would go say hello in the mornings before school and they were very welcoming. Some other teachers I had would pick on me for little things or act petty and childish. One teacher I had was close minded and if you wrote papers opposing her views you did not do as well as students that agreed with her. Roswell high school's building was not so great, the bathrooms were always bad and some toilets didn't have seats. The classrooms were for the most part clean and tidy. The athletics were very prominent in the school's culture and also very important. Many students valued sports because it was their only way to college. Some teachers would favor the football kids and let theme get away with a lot more than average students. Overall the school is pretty good for a public school.
I love this school. The community is amazing and everyone gets along greatly. At sports events, we are family, cheering on our athletes. Faculty is good, but there are a couple of flaws. Some of the faculty members are biased to certain groups of students, which affects us. However, over the years, it has gotten way better. College readiness is the best, giving students many resources. Teachers are great to talk to and are great at teaching. I personally have 1 teacher who I know I can talk to when I need help with class or anything else. Most teacher are very flexible when it comes to grading and homework, others not so much but that’s ok. The school overall is amazing and I love going here.
Roswell High School with excellent teachers mostly, but I wish that teachers made more of an effort to help their students individually, but I understand that some teachers do not have the time to help all their students.
Roswell has a great atmosphere and the teachers are really good, however the school building could be cleaner
I would like to see how the students treat other students differently. It was good of them to renovate the bathrooms but the students just destroyed them because they have no respect at all and its honestly very sad.
