Rosie Sorrells High School has taught me so much. This school focuses on your future career goals and prepares you in so many aspects. Through my school I’ve gotten the opportunity to intern in a pre-k class which has given me a great hands on experience as being a teacher which one day will hopefully be my profession. Us students also had the opportunity to take an ACT/SAT prep class that helped us get ready and tackle our tests. What this school does best is prepare you, in life and in future career goals. Whether it be through intern, a money matters class, and our cluster classes, everything this school offers will greatly impact a student. The teachers are all great, all have such different but effective teaching methods. It truly feels like a family in my school and I’m emensly proud to call Rosie Sorrells School of Education and Social Services my home.

The overall experience in Rosie Sorrels is quite amazing and heartwarming. The plentiful activities and interaction withing everyone, teachers, students and staff, all show how much of a family we are and how well we all get along. ESSM(education and social services) is sadly downgraded within our own school, its sad to know and to hear how some of the teachers from other clusters also be downgrading us ,them being teachers(and adults) and working with our own students, but nothing stops us from having a great time, trying our best and keep on wanting to do what we love. We have great experiences and have the chance to work, not to mention interact with kids, if only we could get more of a high school experience and a bit less of the pressure. As simple as having sports and getting to organize regular activities like pep rallies, big shows and not miss out on all of the fun, while we also get prepared for the life ahead of us,meet all our goals and reach all hopes.
Rosie Sorrells Education & Social Services is a great high school for anyone looking to pursue a degree in education or anything that would fall under social/human services. The school is very diverse and all of the teachers are very involved and invested in their students lives. The school offers great work force experience with internship opportunities and gives students the ability to broaden their horizon by challenging them academically.
