What I love most about Rosepine High School is that they truly care about the student's academics. The faculty was outgoing and students was able to have both a professional and playful relationship with teachers. Teachers interacted with their students and are engaging in the lessons. If students didn't understand it, they was able to talk to the teachers after class and if additional help was needed tutoring was offered in the morning before classes started. Teachers pushed us to reach our potential and prepare us for college.
I especially love how supportive and helpful the counselor is, particularly for their graduating class. She provided stacks of scholarship applications and we were able to ask questions about our college choice, career, fasfa, basically any information we needed.
The only thing I would change is the sports/ activities offered. Although this is a minor situation, I would add a dance team, volleyball, and soccer.

I LOVE my high school! We are a small town, but that does not stop our faculty and students from working to be their best everyday. The teachers at my school are dedicated to their students success every year; I have experienced this kind of support for the 5 years I have been at Rosepine High School. I believe this high school is the best in our area for academics, enrichment, and encouragement!
My experience has been good at the school, there has been problems. One bad thing is for it being located in a small area everyone is related to others. I feel like family members get special treatment from others. Since we are located close to a military base they do make the military kids feel welcomed and do special things for them. We are number 1 in the parish at this very minute. We are becoming more technology based school by having macs in the classroom and we started a media class. There are tvs located around the school to help keep up with announcements.
