Roscoe offers college level courses in senior year, and the credits are transferrable. Last year's graduating class of 15 students went onto Cornell, RPI, RIT, University of Albany, SUNY Oswego, and SUNY Cortland, and were accepted into Binghamton, Syracuse, Drexel, Brandeis and many other top-notch schools. Teachers and staff care about students and athletes get to play. Students interested in the medical field can attend New Visions Health through SC BOCES in senior year. There are opportunities in this small school; you just have to make the most of them!

Every teacher at this school puts in all their time and effort into each course. Having to teach in such a small school teachers are required to teach multiple grades/topics a day. Some teachers even take on the job of teaching two subjects. Every teacher makes sure each student understands the topic thoroughly before moving on. Sometimes in order to make sure students understand the topic, teachers make themselves available to tutor after school hours. Although very serious about their job most teachers add humor and real life situations to their course. This helps students further understand/remember the topic. In my opinion, teachers can't get better than the ones at Roscoe Central.
While attending Roscoe Central, people may feel as if their opportunities are limited. Every teacher does their best to increase extracurricular activities by giving up their free time before/after school just so students can be more involved. Many students participate in extracurricular activities such as sports, choir, and band. These happen to be our most popular activities throughout the school. Each teacher tries their best to make it to any after-school activities to support the students. Our school has a lot of spirit within the teachers, students, and community.
