Roots Public Charter School Reviews

I found that the school does not do well with children who have learning differences at all! My daughter is on an IEP and they were not able to teach her effectively at all (and she was only in kindergarten). We had much better results when I put her in the local school (she ended up on grade level there)! The 2018-19 school year was absolutely awful for my boys! They were in the same class together (one in 3rd and one in 5th) believe it or not. They both hated going and wished they were in the other teacher's class. There was just too much negativity going on, and no encouragement from the teacher, whatsoever. Both of my boys have always liked school so this was new! Finally, one day my oldest said the class was "a hellhole" and "a warzone" and my youngest cried at the prospect of going back. I had tried to resolve issues at the school but to no avail, so I withdrew the children.
