I enjoy a variety of skill-building and character enhancing classes, teachers, clubs and opportunities. I have lots of great things to say about Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte, Michigan.
I like that they have many unique classes like Astronomy and Forensic Science. I feel confident being taught by highly educated professionals. I enjoy a clean environment. I participate in many social and academic clubs. I am happy to have earned an active seat on the National Honor Society. I like that they have an SAT class that runs the whole school year to prepare you for the SAT exams. They offer AP classes for college credit.
I am very impressed with the teachers' teaching style. They care about the students. I am fortunate to be on a college prepatory track and I feel confident that this school will allow me to be very well prepared for my future. The school is also physically big, with 3 floors and an annex to a 2nd building with 2 floors. So I get good exercise on a daily basis.

Roosevelt High School has something for every type of student. It has a variety of sports and many clubs to join. There are many support services as well. The school recognizes the accomplishments of the students and encourages each student to do his or her best. If I could change anything it would be the parking situation. Although the school has a student parking lot, it does get chaotic when it comes to parking. Many students have to park on the surrounding streets, but some of them do not allow parking. The police will ticket students if they park in non-designated areas. I think this can add stress to a student on days when he or she may be running late.
The staff is amazing and I loved playing sports for my school. Our DECA program is a leader is our state. We send students to Nationals every year. I chose to pursue a degree in business based my experience in DECA. My teachers were inspirational and instrumental in my choice. I have played multiple sports and have had wonderful coaches as well. I really enjoyed my time at Roosevelt. It is sad ending in during a pandemic. We are missing out on many of the senior traditions but I look forward to making new memories in college.
