I loved the school I chose right out of eighth grade and I wouldn't want it any other way! As I'm graduating, I've noticed all the opportunities and help the teachers and counselors at Roosevelt was able to give me to build my own successful future! My school was very large, a graduating class of four hundred ninety six people! That might scare some people, but I find myself lucky to be able to get to know so many different people that have changed my life for the better! The school was full of leadership, and very motivating people. I'm thankful I was able to be apart of such a strong and helpful community all those years!

I had a great 4 years of high school at Roosevelt. Roosevelt High School has a wide variety of clubs such as Harry Potter, art, video games, anime, guitar, yearbook, and many more! You are guaranteed to find at least one club that you will like, and you will meet a bunch of friendly students. I definitely recommend joining clubs and sports because you will be more engaged and make new friends. I did not learn much information about college in my classes. There were a few times when counselors would give us a presentation about college, but that was all. I learned about college from a program that specializes in preparing kids for college, and from meetings with my counselor. Your counselor will do their absolute best to find the information that you're looking for, and help prepare you for any situation. I have had many great teachers over the years. They're so friendly and kind, and they really do care for their students!
One thing I liked about Roosevelt High School was how they involved everyone. Everyone is able to get involved in just about everything. They have a program called Best Buddies which involves students with special needs and helps them to interact and make friends with other students throughout the school. We also have an amazing principal. In some cases, people have stereotypes about typical high school principals, but our principal doesn't fall into any of those categories. He makes you feel welcome and always makes time to interact with student and faculty.
