While being at Roosevelt High School, I really enjoyed getting closer to all of my teachers. I played sports, volleyball, basketball, and track, during the first two years. I definitely loved how my track team felt like family. I also loved playing basketball and competing with my teammates. Academically, I have learned so much over the years. Thanks to all of my teachers for putting in all of their hard work and effort to make sure my peers and I are able to learn. I thank them so much for all they do and for being there when I needed it most. Overall, I loved my experience at Roosevelt High School and am so thankful.
Roosevelt High School to many of its students and staff is considered a community. Attending this school allows a student to receive not only a great education but the love and support of its’ people. It has something for everybody and the staff genuinely tries to recognize what is best for the students. For the small school Roosevelt is, I would say it produces great minds!
Overall the education was fair. Unfortunately the town is having a hard time getting a bond or mill levy passed. This results in students attending class in hallways and common areas rather than in a classroom. Class sizes are above average, which means students do not receive any sort of individualized learning experiences. Teachers are too often stretched too thin which interferes with the quality of education provided.
