I really love that the teachers care, and that every student has somebody they trust and can go to if need be. It's more one on one than bigger schools, and the teachers care about your success, they want to see you thrive. I've never felt more looked out for at any other school. Its overall atmosphere is very homey and unlike any other school I've been too. It sucks we don't have sports but we just aren't big enough. However we have a great P.E. teacher who loves to keep the kids moving and healthy, he doesnt grade all students off one criteria, he grades based upon progress and how much work is put in. I love how involved the teachers are and how thoughtful all the staff is. I have had the most amazing experience at Roosevelt High School, I wouldn't exchange it for the world!

Roosevelt was a great school for me. It had a great atmosphere. I loved the smaller classes and therefore, the relationships you were able to build with your teachers. The downside to being such a small school was that there were no clubs or sports teams. You would have to go to one of the other high schools or join a rec league if you wanted to play. But other than that I would definitely recommend going to Roosevelt!
The teachers care about their students and focus on creating a good learning atmosphere. I think they could make a few tweaks here and their, but being connected to another school that offers learning about trades is so beneficial to the students who go their. The size of classes are at the right amount to give students the opportunity to receive one on one help if needed.
