Ronald E Mcnair High school has made my 4 year experience an amazing one. I was able to meet a diversity of great people as well as connecting well to the teachers and staffs who work here. I feel like I was able to get involved in many extra curricular activities and was able to create a change for our community through my community services. Academic wise, the students were competitive and it was a challenge trying to stay top 10, however I was still able to do so. Ronald E McNair Highschool was such a great experience for me overall!

Going to McNair High School has honestly been a great experience for me. The school is diverse and gives its students many great opportunities to succeed. The school consists of helpful teachers, who take out their time and energy to help students with tutoring, advice, and just extra support. The counselors are amazing and they help students get prepared for college on a daily basis. We have excellent group of faculty who are there to support students and help them succeed in the future. Our school is extremely spirited and we support our eagle pride with a variety to sports, clubs, and student leadership: football, garden club, link crew, etc. McNair is a school that helped me come far these last four years, and now I am on track and ready to graduate next year in May.
The academic opportunities to succeed here are very high! With a block schedule allowing students to take 8 classes per year, allows kids to graduate with so many extra credits! There are also many AP courses here that challenge students and prepare them for a college level work ethic. Discipline has become an issue over the years, but it mainly comes from incoming freshmen that are not well prepared for high school.
