Great school! I was a student and now I am a parent and i would not send my children anywhere else. I have always loved the community and i have never had trouble with the school. I feel as though my children are happy and properly cared for while being educated on a higher level than most schools in the surrounding cities.
They have substitutes that teach ways to solve things differently from the teacher. When the sub grades and kids solved things the ways the teacher taught the grade is marked down and same when kids use the way the substitute taught. kids come home constantly not knowing how to complete homework
My daughter had a teacher her grab and pull her by the arm telling her to shut her mouth for trying to explain she was reprimanding the wrong child. My daughter had a septic hip over the summer spent all summer in a wheel chair days before school she was able to walk without a walker but still required lots of physical therapy. We made the teacher aware she would be missing for such appointments. The teacher lectured my child about missing class. Would not give her make up work or tests. After fighting with the Principal for a couple weeks we got her to a different classroom. Sadly by then she was behind in math. They were putting her in a tutoring program at the school but put her in it for English for a long time instead. She was diagnosed with a neurological condition and myself, her father and Drs agreed we wouldn't not be telling her so she wouldn't be filled with anxiety ( she had been through enough) the nurse decided to tell her after I angered about my daughters inhaler. (She has asthma the nurse didn't want her carrying her inhaler) she also spoke about her condition infront of other students. Parents were right outside the open door to hear all of my child medical information. The school did nothing about this. They just put us through hell making us go to the pediatrician to get fork filled out. We finally had enough and decided to homeschool. This is just a bit of the hell they put us through.
