The school needs work or repair in a few areas. The computer labs are usually full and can be hard to get in to. There are guidance counselors available but I'm not sure as to how they help the students with problems or if they would be considered "good or helpful." My kids have never talked to a counselor. The school does offer tutoring and it has been somewhat helpful. Busing is good.

Bullying is somewhat a problem. I feel safe while my kids are at school. The school doors are locked pretty much all during the day for the lower and upper elementary. There is also a cop who is on duty at all times during school hours. The school nurse is somewhat educated but I would be concerned if my child had a medical condition that needed to be continually monitored.
There are some students who go above and beyond but many students fall through the cracks. There are ALOT of politics that go on at this school and acceptance is easy if you are fortunate enough to be kin to those who work at this school. I have realized that the kids who's parents or kin work at the school seem to excel while the majority "get by." Drugs and alcohol are also a problem.
