It was ok. The school is old but is getting renovations next year. However I do hav some downsides... Many kids here smoke E-Cigarettes and a few have even smoked marijuana. If the teachers see bullying going on they put a stop to it, otherwise it always keeps on going. Have been teased and bullied a lot since this year began. I hope that high school will be better.
Communication with parents was awful. The teachers were all great, but the administration was completely inept. At the beginning of the school year parents sat for hours in a line to pick up books only to be told that they would need to return again to pick up additional materials. EOG schedules weren't provided until the afternoon before testing began. This presented difficulties for parents of remote students.Class schedules changed with little to no notice adding to the confusion. Classes are overcrowded, preventing students from receiving individual attention. If a student is struggling but isn't disruptive, they can slip through the cracks.
While COVID presented many challenges to schools Roland Grise utterly and completely failed to adapt. I understand that this was a difficult situation, but many schools were able to provide support to their students.

Terrible school . The teachers and administrators are worse then the kids, they are the biggest cause of everything that is wrong with this school. If your child goes here just know that they will have a miserable 3 years of their life. This is not a welcoming environment for children to be learning in.
