Rogers Park Montessori School Reviews

2 reviews
RPMS is a loving and nurturing environment for children. Both of my kids feel at home at RPMS. I am constantly impressed with what they are learning and how they are challenged as individuals. As an example, my five year old created a timeline of the earth. I was very surprised to hear my five year old talk about timelines! I love that all of the teachers and staff know the children by name and treat them with respect. The Montessori philosophy meets children where they are allowing each child to learn at his or her own pace. My kids are building confidence and a love of learning that I believe is giving them the right foundation for life. I am very happy with RPMS and would highly recommend it.

While in the beginning I thought Rogers Park Montessori was the perfect fit for me as a growing child, as I reached the middle school age I realized that it was not. The teachers and other faculty members treat each of us as the same person. One specific math teacher (who shall remain unnamed) only knew how to read out of the math book and in the end the students taught her. The seminars to teach us about the world ended up being stupid and all in all we were kept in the a little bubble until the age of 14.
