Roger Bacon has been an extremely welcoming family, and I am proud to call myself a Spartan! I have been awarded with numerous opportunities through Roger Bacon, and I am appreciative of this. As far as changes go, I would like to see a switch from iPads to laptops.

Roger Bacon is an awesome school to go to if you want a tight knit community of 500 students. With such a small school you’ll be able to know everyone in your grade plus a few in others. We are all about our sports and our fine arts. We have a lot of school spirit and pride. You will definitely be able to find something for you there, wether it’s an elective class, a club, a sport, or the drama program. The teachers are all nice but aren’t afraid to inform the rules. They are there to help with and problem you may have in there class. They listen and will help if they can. Don’t hate on them before you know them. The principal lives and breaths Roger Bacon. He is the nices person at the school. He is an x-marine and will yell at an entire class if he hears about anything bad that you guys have done. He and the Dean of Discipline will not hesitate to expel someone if need be. Overall Roger Bacon is a vary well balanced school and is a great school to attend.
I am a current junior here and have had some good and some bad experiences here, but it hasn’t been too bad overall. I wish they were stricter about the rules they have in the handbook, like they let too many girls get away with wearing skirts too short. I also wish it wasn’t so clicky here, especially amount the girls and that I felt more ready for college. I know that I am only a junior, but I still feel that I am not at all ready for the real world. Other than these things, I have had a pretty good experience here.
