Rocky River High school has been overall a good experience for me. I definitely have been pushed to do my best in classes. I wish the school counselors were more approachable and knowledgeable. A lot of times I would go down to the counseling office and they wouldn't even be there! Besides that, my experience has been pretty okay.

Rocky River High School excels in academics and allows each student to achieve to their fullest capacity. For my personally, I have always loved math and been ahead in it. In 7th grade, I tested out of normal honors math and was fast tracked to high school math--honors algebra 1. Because of that, I have been able to be ahead in math and take harder classes. This allowed me to explore my career options in the math field and I attribute much of my success in mathematics to the program that I was able to be in.
Rocky River also has a positive environment with many encouraging teachers and staff that pushes their students to do their best. When my lacrosse team made it to the state final four game, many teachers cheered us on.
I have loved attending Rocky River High School. Being a student here, I have had numerous amounts of opportunities from laying soccer to getting to learn how to live on my own in college and taking so many college classes. While attending Rocky River High School, I have been able to take classes such as college english through my local community college. This class has allowed me to earn credits so that my college ends up costing me less money. Additionally, I was able to take classes such as ap chemistry where I get to take a class that, as an aspiring nurse, will very much benefit me. I have loved attending Rocky River Hig School and I would very much recommend going to this amazing school system.
