Rockport-Fulton High School (RFHS), is a great high school with great athletics in all sports. Though we don't have lacrosse or field hockey we have a variety of other amazing sports in which the athletes flourish! The RFHS football team has gone to playoffs the past 2 years and the RFHS Boys Basketball team are District Champs and went to playoffs this past year! A LOT of the athletes here sign with D1, D2 and D3 colleges to continue their athletic careers. We are pushed in and out of the classroom. The teachers are great, respectful and very helpful. Our Admin. is great but our board-meetings aren't at the most logical hours if students and parents want to attend. Our school spirit is up there, not everyone participates but most of us do! Our cops/ security are kind but they make sure everyone is as safe as possible. We take pride in our school and community! Go Pirates!
I had the average high school experience at Rockport-Fulton High School. I think the school could improve on their teacher choices. I understand that it can be difficult to locate teachers to fill the voids needed, but I value my education. If I’m going to be bound to a classroom all day, I want to be learning something, not just random ramble fed to my ears by a teacher who doesn’t care as much as the next one. However, despite the poor teacher choice in my time at the high school, I still have been blessed by many wonderful teachers who have not only fulfilled their duty to expand my knowledge on their designated subject, but my knowledge on the world around me.
Rockport-Fulton High School is a great public school, with helpful teachers that care about your well-being. Definitely recommend!
