The teachers are terrific! They are very caring, hardworking, and diligent. They go out of their way to provide opportunities for all students to be successful. In this year of hybrid schooling, they have tirelessly learned new platforms and strategies to help students. They are making parent connections more than ever. Food services ensures students get breakfast and lunch each day, and the ladies send bags of food home each day with students as they leave the building. We have a very diverse student body, and numerous sports opportunities. The coaches are dedicated to bringing out the best in all students, encouraging them in their studies and inspiring them to do their best both in practice and competition. Students have many musical and theatrical opportunities as well, including orchestra, band, choir, and theater. An academy structure prepares students for various jobs and careers as well as for college and trade schools. Our community is very fortunate to have our school.
Pretty nice place to be! If you're social the whole year will be a blast. If you need help most of the teachers are friendly enough to help you out! There's a lot of diversity and I learned about different cultures aswell. Don't really recommend taking AP classes unless you're already familiar with the topic or you know you're gonna ace it bc they will NOT let you drop it. Food is bad, bring your own lunch its life saving.
I loved East High School. I’m currently a junior in college and I miss East so much! I keep remembering my memories there and will visit it soon. My favorite thing about East was the staff. The teachers were amazing and made learning fun. One thing I would like to change is how crowd the hallways are.
