I really like this school. Teachers and staff give you the opportunity to succeed, learn and try new things. No it’s not easy, but it’s nit impossible either. There are so many activities, clubs and sports to choose from, there is something for everyone. There is always someone to ask if you need help, and there are always new challenges to try. There are so many AP and honors classes, and there is a class for every type of student. There are so many different learning styles that teachers are willing to explore and teach. Great school! Love it!

There are great teachers who genuinely care about their students. Yet the vast majority flounder in their own personal disorganization and biases against students. AP courses are an Olympic sport at the school, GPA/test scores are well above average despite the school’s perpetual spawning of teenage drug addicts. There is little to no diversity amongst the students, which means that a variety of racist, antisemetic, and sexist phrases are witnessed. Wish Week/school spirit are two highlights here that cause all of the students to take brief break from their insufferable, spoiled, self centered-ness. A word of advice: make sure your child finds a great friend group/support system upon enrolling, or else they might not be able to handle the stresses of this particular institution, whose curriculum is more like that of a college (with a workload to match)! While it is high achieving and glamorous from the outside, I advise caution for those choosing to enroll their child.
Rock Canyon is a very good school! The academics are amazing, with many different classes ranging from honors, AP, dual enrollment, etc. There are also super interesting electives that are both fun/career-oriented, including a forensic science class, business classes, zoology class, and more - many different classes so that every student can have a fun/interesting schedule to them. The academics are highly regarded as well. One of the best things about the school is the spirit. The school unites through Wish Week (one whole week dedicated to making a wish kid's dream come true), various games, homecoming week, and more! Overall a very good school that well-prepares kids for college, all while providing them with a great high school experience!
