Rochester High School exudes character and tradition. The main focus is not just about academics; the school prioritizes school spirit and community. What other school has principals that will devote their time to pep assemblies and school events. They even hired a petting zoo for one of our tailgates! Even the staff has limitless understanding and care for the well-being of the students. I feel like I am part of a safe and trusted community everyday. I am so proud to be a Rochester Falcon. Rochester High is an incredibly diverse school full of great students and caring teachers that sometimes feel more like loving parents. We have a GREAT theater program-definitely one of the best in the area- and so many other clubs! Our multiple honors societies and other service clubs are always involved in the community, whether it be helping out the nursing homes in the area or tutoring students in Pontiac. What make Rochester so unique is the ability to take initiative- to create your own clubs or suggest something new to the administration. Really a great school. :)
The building has been recently remodeled, however, the technology and textbooks are extremely old. Most teachers are very helpful and kind. Also, extracurricular activities and sports meet high expectations. The Performance Arts department especially has a great programs and staff!
