Robert O. Gibson Middle School Reviews

I loved middle school, I have so many memories from it. Most people viewed Gibson as a bad school, but I wouldn’t say it was that bad. The teachers were okay, they were nice, so were the rest of the staff. One thing I would change was how strict their dressing code has evolved. It’s to a certain point I think dress code should tell us what to wear, it shouldn’t go extreme. Part of our identity is how we dress, it’s how we express ourselves. Gibson’s dress code is a bit to harsh and I would change it. What I liked about it was how involved the parents were. D.O.G.S. was a program for dad’s and I saw how they helped the school. I was also in orchestra and it made me happy when I saw the audience being mostly parents. They were really supportive. The memories I had at Gibson would always stay in my heart, I loved it.

I did not participate much myself in outside school activities. However, I was in band and I definitely had tremendous fund. I would like to state that some clubs may need more money.
I enjoyed my years in junior high school at R.O Gibson Middle School. The staff and students were both friendly and helpful. I made some long-time friends and made the best memories there.
