Robbinsville High School is a very small school. This can be good because of the close knit community and the teacher-student ratio helps learning. Students also have high engagement in student body activities, like sports events. However, many students are not exposed to diversity because a majority of the students are white (with many of the same cultural experiences). Students are also not properly prepared for college. There aren’t many lessons on making a resumé, how good properly prepare for college courses, etc. Furthermore, the education fails to be what it could be due to lack of resources, as a result of being in a low income community. Recently, the school got a grant to provide Chromebooks to all students. But this does not compensate for aged textbooks, terrible school lunches, and the fees for everything (parking, lockers, computers, etc), which many students in this area simply cannot afford.

I’m so proud of my school. This year, we even won the 1A state championship for boys football team. This is a great honor, I just can’t get over it! What’s more, our teachers are fantastic, they spend most of their precious time with the students to help them out and get ready for college.
Really enjoyed my time here as a student. I always felt safe in class or out in the halls. Everyone was friendly and you were able to have a casual conversation with staff instead of just seeing them as your superiors. I always saw one big flaw in our rules, though. I always felt that our dress code was a bit too strict and it annoyed many people. Other than that, this school was perfect.
