Riverview HS is a great school. The teachers are good and treat the students fairly. Besides taking your core classes, there are plenty of elective courses to choose from.

The one thing that is not good about Riverview is there are so many students. The average school population is around 3,600 students. The core classes have about 30-32 students and elective classes have about 25-28 students. Lunch time is packed to capacity.

Overall, I enjoyed my time at RHS and look forward to going to college. Go Rams!

Riverview high school is an IB school and has one of the very best education systems. The available resources used in the classrooms create hands on experiences that are effective in teaching the students. The school offers a planetarium, a small aquarium, and a nuclear radiation course. The nuclear radiation course happens to be one of the fewest high school radiation courses in the nation. Besides the classes, I have never encountered a teacher who I didn't enjoy having. All the administration are very helpful and kind every time I ask for help. The best way to make this school a better place is to decrease the separation between the IB students and the non-IB students. The IB students typically feel more important than the non-IB students and I think the school could do a better job about encouraging the students to treat each other equally.
I really enjoyed being in Riverview. I was in International Baccalaureate, which is very rewarding and very difficult. For anyone who is planning to go here, join clubs and honor societies! It really makes a large school feel small, and you'll have access to a LOT of opportunities.
