My experience at Riverview Community High School has been an amazing journey. I came from a very small Catholic school so I was very nervous to be in a school with almost 800 more students. Riverview has taught me to come out of my shell and show the world who I am. The teachers and staff are the most supporting individuals, as I trusted them with any of my problems; whether they be related to school or related to my outside world. I did struggle a bit in school but with the help of the teachers at Riverview, I graduated with honors. The academics are outstanding as I have looked at private schools and we were learning the same information. I am very proud to now be a Riverview Community High School alumni.

Riverview school has amazing people who fund us but they don’t fund us where we need it. Riverview has laptop carts, iPads, chrome books, and amazing computers, however our bathroom stalls are falling off, the library wall collapsed, and the school doesn’t have heat or air conditioning in most class rooms. Sure we have some great technology but how can we focus when we’re shivering. Riverview is one of the poorer schools and we get a lot of students from all over the place. Some of these students have threatened the school and/or its individuals. That can be pretty scared as a student. All in all Riverview schools are not all they cracked up to be.
Personally, I love RCHS! It was a great school that let me shine and I will forever be grateful for that! Teachers and staff are SO friendly and helpful, almost all teachers went above and beyond to help me when I needed it. Only thing I disliked was one of my teachers, who just was not the best at what she taught. I was switched into a better class with an amazing teacher, making it all good!
