Riverton High School is a fantastic school and I wouldn't want to attend any other high school! The atmosphere is conducive for success, and for lots of fun along the way! The student body is extremely united and it is very easy to feel welcome there. Expecially during December, when their winter charity fundraiser brings the school extremely close together. When you walk into Riverton every morning, there is a positive feeling the minute you open the doors. The teachers (generally speaking) genuinely care about the success of their students and are very understanding. Going to Riverton High is a remarkable experience that I'll never forget.

Riverton High was a super fun experience! Everyone is so inclusive and the annual charity, Silver Rush, was a blast to participate in. I am honored to call it my alma mater. I learned a lot and really enjoyed most of the teachers and administration. I do wish there had been more recognition of the performing arts, specifically choir, as sports got all the attention, but school spirit was always strong even if we didn’t score high in competitions. I can’t imagine going to another high school and having that much fun.
They seemed to try really hard to help me pick a college and get credits done early in AP classes, but as far as actually preparing for college, I feel like I know just as much as I did in middle school. Their scholarship help only told me about minority scholarships that I would never qualify for, despite giving them a detailed survey of the kind of things I would qualify for.
Other than that, Riverton high is a great school and I would highly recommend it!
Riverton offers a lot of electives and the ability for kids to find what they like to do. Ultimately I have liked that Jordan School District and Riverton High School offer a lot of programs though their Applied Training Center. Which in turn allows a lot of kids to get special training in the fields of their choice before they graduate. The other thing the school does amazing, is Silver Rush. Every December the SBO's choose a charity and the entire student body has opportunities to serve and raise money for this charity. It is huge! The kids go door to door asking to do jobs to earn money for Silver Rush. The school not only provides education, it provides sports and service to prepare our kids for the future.
