I've been going to Riverside Preparatory since 7th grade until I graduated in 2014. I had nothing but good experiences from that school. The teachers are close to the students because they're there to help us and wants the best for us. It is a charter school, so you get to meet new friends from different cities that you probably wouldn't have met in different schools. The educational system was great! I really improved in my grades and ended up graduating with a 4.0! Overall this school is great! You can tell the faculty wants to see you succeed, the food is decent, the campus is clean. I wouldn't change anything.
I liked that the school was focused on college readiness. Although the level of college readiness programs they provide are average, it is better than nothing. I would like to see the school culture change. Many students that attend do not like attending because of the school culture. I think this is because of the students as well as staff, both contribute.
Riverside Preparatory strives to be the best and it shows. Things are always changing, in hopes for the better. It is said to be a college prep school, but without having homework it is hard to prepare for college. If the days were shorter and homework was implemented, I believe that would have better prepared me for the high workload I now obtain in college.
