It has truly been an honor to be a student at Riverside High School. They offer so much support to me and every student that attends. Additionally the school all together has been like a second home to me and I truly love being there. The teachers are very supportive, while making sure standards are met. Staff is respectful and makes sure everyone is doing well. Counselors do semester check-ins to ensure everyone is performing well and again doing well. My principal is involved tremendously, and ensures that everyone at Riverside is achieving goals and making great things happen. Overall I just feel safe at my school and that is all the any student wants to ensure when attending any school. I can't wait to spend the next 2 years at Riverside!

I could not see myself attending any other high school! The principal, Mr. Anderson, is one of the best mentors you could ever meet. He cares about the student body and ensures each student establishes relationships with the students. He wants students to want to come to school and he sure has achieved that goal! Teachers are understanding, kind, and genuinely want students to succeed. There are many clubs and organizations to be a part of!
The good things:
It is a very clean school, and has a great administration. The facilities here are indeed excellent. I am lucky to have teachers ranging from good to great from my freshman to senior year. However this year, I came across friends who complained about some bad teachers (it is believable).

I feel that it is VERY IMPORTANT to talk about the downsides of this school:
The school culture needs a lot of work. As a student, making friends here is much harder than in other schools. I know people who reported being more welcomed after moving to another school in the district. I also found newly arrived students who reported wanting to go back to their old school.

Overall, the students here are incredibly cliquey and stuck-up. Those of you who are feeling lonely and excluded, please do not lose hope! There will always be nice folks wherever you go. I promise.
