With the new principal this year, the school is improving. Lots of school spirit! The only not great thing would be the way that the administration handled current hot topics and their lack of communication with the student body and their parents.

Riverside Brookfield High School is a wonderful school. Its amount of students is not too many nor too little. Your child has a good amount of resources and the school overall is a safe environment. The district is filled with intellectual and socially active students. With a large percentage in activity with extra-curricular, you genuinely have to try in order to feel alone in this school. There are practical activities for any type of student in our district. Honestly, I am a bit biased because of our new Principal this year has brought a new light upon our learning environment. Doctor Hector Freytas has been a breath of fresh air for our school. He remains present literally and metaphorically with our student body and cares genuinely for all of us individually. He is a trusted administrator who has made our school a better place by simply taking an interest in our needs as young scholars.
What I liked about Riverside Brookfield High School was the atmosphere and the willingness of teachers to help their students and guide them through the right path. Every student can rely on another adult to help them and make them feel like there's someone for them. Every teacher and educator is different but there is a staff member that can connect with every type of kid in school. Through constant support from them and the administration and especially the principal students can feel ready to take that next step in their careers whether that is college, work, the military, etc.
