Class of 2021 Alumni - My time at Riverside Brookfield was very unique. We have exceptional teachers from top ranked colleges who are very qualified in their respected areas, almost all working towards or acquiring a Masters degree. We have an administration that cares for its students, no matter what the circumstances are. Most importantly, the students here are very collaborative. However, there are things that can be definitely improved. For one, we need a less competitive student body. Too many of my classmates put school above their health, other responsibilities and overall happiness. We also need better social-emotional help for those who won't reach out for it. Lastly, we need to be more supportive of achievements outside the school. This school was probably the best place I could've attended and I would never redo any of it.
RB is a great place to go to school, and it is located in an even greater community. The students are well-achieving, and many go on to notable universities. One thing I would like to see change, though, is how minority students are represented in higher-level classes; those classes are key to college success.
