Riverdale High is a great school! My Principal Mrs. Miller-Brown was a great help and genuinely wants to see her students succeed! The counselors work hard to ensure students graduate on time and get help with future plans! I'd love to see a few changes to timing and letting the students be aware of upcoming events, I'd also love to she improvements with making student schedules. Overall great athletics and learning environment!
This school overall has changed my thought in school. I used to dread going to school but now I'm excited to go. As an orchestra kid, i feel like I'm always learning a new way to improve on my performance! The fine arts department is really good. Every teacher I've talked to here really seems to enjoy it, and students don't argue as much here as they did over at middle school. Overall this is a good school for a public with nice space, good clubs, and great cooperation
Pretty decent school, first school that actually is involved in student's academic experience, especially since I got cleared as an early graduate. I came in my upcoming senior year, and felt extremely isolated, and remained that way for 3 months, but then I connected with a few teachers. That changed me, yet my whole perspective on becoming an adult, they were so sweet and gave me advice, while admiring how I'm a workaholic by completing all their work on time and being quiet. Their are amazing counselors, they make sure your credits are accepted and not denied when transferring. I believe I had 38 credits, with dual enrollment included led me to decide whether or not I wanted to leave early or not. And I did because I must work to have money for college savings and more. I want to pursue aviation and get those flight hours after my time in online school, such as Devry University, it's more flexible for me. I know if I stay determined, I'll be an airline pilot (my goal) in no time.
