Riverbend School Reviews
Riverbend creates lifelong learners. Through their multi-age classrooms, children become self-motivated & intrinsically driven to achieve their best both academically and socially. The younger children strive to the academic levels of their older peers. In addition, the exemplary social and emotional behavior modeled by the older students is a strong force that helps shape the younger children through example. Once a child moves through to be the oldest grade in a classroom, they are given the gift of leadership. The older students gain self-esteem and confidence as the leaders both academically and socially. Riverbend students experience a community that embraces social awareness and global thinkers. A Riverbend education sets students up to be change makers, to reach a higher level of knowledge, and to be the best version of themselves.
Our daughter started in the Toddler program and is now in Primary, and she LOVES school. She comes home and shows us her lessons and teaches us how to do works. Riverbend has been an excellent place for her to learn and grow, and you can tell our daughter appreciates that concept (in an abstract manner) even at her young age based on the pride she has in her school.
We are big fans of the extracurricular activities offered on campus. Soccer, karate, builders, gymnastics, sports and games, and the list goes on. These offerings are helpful because they are after school and do not require another pickup/drop off/pickup, and our daughter looks forward to learning something new each time.
There are also wonderful community events that have helped us make new parent friends. The whole family wins at Riverbend.
