Rivera Early College High School Reviews
Rating 3.63 out of 5 288 reviews
Rivera Early College High School is a very generous school that gives its students a myriad of opportunities for the future. Not only is it a breeding ground for future brilliant minds, but many excellent staff members have repeatedly shown their support for the student's after school programs. I have little to no issues with the school besides the lack of available full time teachers for certain classes such as Theater and Psychology. Having a substitute teacher for a lengthy amount of time is not only damaging for a students education for their careers but this just only proves the unwillingness for a higher pay raise for staff members, especially teachers. Although I still have yet to see the full potential of this school, my experience being a student there for the past two years has been nothing less than exceptional. I am not much for school spirit but I am glad to be a fellow raider.
Within my four years, I've made lots of great memories and friends. My freshman year was cut short, but my teachers adjusted greatly and made online learning easy. Once we came back after Covid, they did a good job on implementing the mask and social distancing rules, so we had a low count of cases. The administration is kind, and the teachers are very understanding. They do an amazing job of getting the lesson across to thier students.
I had a good experience overall in this school. They offer a good education, extracurricular activities, community, cultural events, transportation, etc. My problem with this is that sometimes it feels like the staff isn't always available or only available when they want to.
