River Trail along with many other Northern Fulton County schools is packed with very professional yet engaging teachers and staff. The rigor of the courses prepared me perfectly for my transition into high school. Starting as early as 6th grade, students have the chance to partake in three languages: Spanish, French, and Chinese. In 8th grade, they can also choose German. Outside of class, students can choose a number of electives such as Band, Orchestra, Chorus, Computer Science, Home Economics as well as Gym and Art. My only grievance with River Trail would be the rigidness and conformity that is mandated for the students. Walking quietly in one line and not being able to use cellphones as well as a pretty biased dress code are the few problems I felt could be fixed. Other than that, the diversity of the school is magnificent and truly encapitualtes the Johns Creek area.

Academically a great school, but not a great school for sports. There is a lot of Asians than most schools. The food used to be good before the school lunch changes. They have a nice park next to them that they use. Academically competitive.
Everyone feels dumb here; even those kids in triple accelerated math. Lots of competition. Gr8 school, although school lunch can improve (all public schools). One more thing... lots of Asians... just how I like it :)
