I loved my experience at River Springs Charter School. I was able to gain first-hand college experience as a dual/concurrent enrollment student and the charter school structure allowed me to volunteer and work as a preschool teacher in order to gain experience in the education field. Through these volunteer hours and work experience, I was accepted as a merit based full scholarship winner of the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange to spend a year abroad in Germany, which I recently returned from.

Like any school system they'd had minor issues, but seemed to've been constantly incorporating new changes and ideas. I feel that this school gave me the opportunity to learn various life lessons and helped me "evolve" into the person I am today. River Springs Charter School has welcomed those with amazing academic skills and struggling students. Getting to graduate with my peers was one of the best days of my life. It felt like I'd truly accomplished something for the first time, but I couldn'tve done it without my teachers that refused to give up on me. This school provides assistance and guidance unlike any other.
I have been attending River Springs Charter School since 8th grade and now I am in my senior year going to graduate from this school. This says a lot! High school certainly is the best years of my life so far. The memories I have at this school is great like joining the high school basketball team, help to create the Spartans club (extracurricular activity), taking part in a art competition with the art class (We won the competition), and winning the competition at my school to speak with a astronaut from NASA from space. My life has been great with those awesome experiences.

What makes this school very unique from other schools is our small crowd of students(less than 120 students), attend school on an airport, and the small classrooms to have more one on one teaching. A small school like this should be known more to parents to show the great quality of the school and the experience is great. If my mother did not find this school I would of been in Independent studies with no one but myself and teaching myself everything. I do not enjoy public school at all, and this school was perfect for me small classes, more one on one time with students, and the positive atmosphere. I would choose this school again and do it all over again.
