I really loved my time at River Ridge High School! I was there for my junior and senior year, and my experiences there were all very beneficial to my academic career. I started out at a different high school through my sophomore year, and I performed rather poorly, but once I transferred to River Ridge, I had the help and support of amazing teachers, staff, and new friends who helped me succeed. I am proud to be an alumni of River Ridge, and I will always be a royal knight at heart!

I believe that River Ridge is a very good school! The academics are great and there are all times of academies and programs a student can enter. It really makes the high school experience a lot more fun, especially when you get to start specializing in classes as early as freshmen year. One of the down sides or River Ridge is that if you aren't in sports, more specifically football, you are a lot lower on the priority list. Many things get put on the back burner due to football. For example, River Ridge has an amazing drama department but not many really care or get to see due to football being everyone's priority and sometimes only concern. It can really be discouraging at times. Other than that, it really is a great school and I highly recommend!
I have had Great experiences with teachers and staff these 3 and a half years my son has attended RRHS. Communication has been very good and assistance with programs and accommodations has been very helpful. The traffic flow in and out has been frustrating due to the size of the school and that the middle and high school are on the same campus and their start and end times are the same. Many parents do not follow the traffic flow signs making it unsafe for others, especially the kids.
All in all, my son is lucky to have attended here since 9th grade and to now be able to drive his own car back and forth to school and have his own assigned spot!
