River Bluff is a safe community that pushes for only the best for its students. There are many amazing resources that benefit every student's academic performance. For example, we have different areas that people can go to to study or interact with friends and teachers, like the Commons. There are four of these "Commons" where you can ask teachers questions, study, and more. Another amazing resource that is provided for us is a MacBook Air for each student. This is tremendously helpful as that is how we turn in certain assignments and view grades. It is a different approach to learning and it is extremely helpful! Lastly, River Bluff has been claimed Palmetto's Finest in South Carolina, meaning that our school has had the best impact on students. This is true! I have met so many amazing people and I have learned so much since I have been at this school. I can confidently say River Bluff High School has given me the best high school experiences I could ask for.

I love attending River Bluff High School. I played on the volleyball team, sang in the honor choir and participated in DECA. The teachers were awesome and really cared about me succeeding in their class. I was able to maintain a 4.3 GPA and was accepted into my dream school (Clemson)! Also, the counselors were awesome. They always made time for me and responded quickly to my many e-mails regarding questions about my classes. I made some awesome friends who I know I will remain in contact with for years to come. I really hate that I can't finish my senior year with them, but feel so blessed that I have had such a great experience during my high school years! I wish the same for every student!
River Bluff High School is unlike any school in my district or anywhere in the country. The school's use of the Expeditionary Learning system allows every student an equal opportunity to learn and grow in a safe and academically chanlleging environment. As a rising senior at River Bluff, I can confidently express through my words and actions that I am ready to take on the college world as well as the work force. The staff and student body at River Bluff High School strives to encourage their peers while allowing everyone their own independence through Independent Learning Time, a different schedule every day of the week, as well as time to connect with teachers and staff personally and academically. While River Bluff High School does an outstanding job of preparing students such as myself for their future college and career paths, Independent Learning Time may need to become more structured with more stimulating activties to indulge in so students can not incorrectly use their time.
