River Bluff High School has changed my perspective about the reality of school. I used to dread high school, believing that it would be the worst experience of my life. River Bluff has showed me that high school can be the best experience if you let it be, with great friends, good teacher to student relationships, and pushing hard for your grades while giving you independence. If I could change one thing about this school it would be the food! Everything else is great, and River Bluff would be the best high school experience anyone could ask for.
Review River Bluff High School
River Bluff is an amazing school that truly prepares students for the future. Using Expeditionary Learning principles, academics focus on real-world applications rather than memorizing and reciting facts. The teachers and administration care and truly want to see each individual student exceed. As a 5 year old school, traditions are still being built, but the school is already working on building school traditions and culture. The school has many different "groups" and personality types, so anyone can find people they enjoy. Additionally, the school is absolutely gorgeous and has lots of space to learn freely.
It's a great school to journey through your high school career! Like all schools, it does have its ups and downs, may not learn well from every teacher, but friendly environments are present to allow you to learn the material. Very similar to a college schedule with independent learning time, where homework can be completed or visiting a teacher to receive help.
