Terrible school experience 2017/2018. Seemed like an outdated backwards school environment. Small town type gossipy feel to this school. Like Mayberry gone very wrong. Seemed like outdated traditional education, policies and unconventional teaching methods. It seemed like they were trying to catch up to the rest of the academic world by piling on homework and classwork and offering quantity education instead of quality. I recommend avoiding this school and looking for a more progressive updated school with higher test scores and better eighth grade math teachers.

A few years ago, my daughter transferred to this school with close to a 3.0 from her previous elementary school. At her previous school she was on the 7th grade soccer team and played softball. At Ripon Elementary her grades dropped dramatically to all Fs due to what I believe was due to harassment and poor teaching methods. She couldn’t attend her eighth grade graduation. She left this school severely mentally traumatized. Being a close family as Ripon Elementary proclaimed is NOT a good thing. Her grades went back up at Ripon High and they now range from a 3.0 to a 3.5 at Gregori in Modesto.
